For example Bluetooth for mobile phones. Bluetooth enables a mobile phone user to connect to their hands free headset without wires. It also allows the mobile phone user to connect to their hands free kit.

A handy use of Bluetooth is file sharing. Bluetooth allows sharing of files between two mobile phones, between a mobile phone and a computer making it very handy. For example if you wanted to put a MP3 onto your phone from your computer you could do so easily. All your computer would need is a Bluetooth adaptor. And it doesn’t stop with the swapping of files. Using your computer and your phone you can synchronise phone books, send SMS messages and more.

Bluetooth may be handy for phones, but it also comes in handy for the home office. By utilizing Bluetooth a wireless home network can be connected. Two computers, a printer, a scanner. They can all be connected using Bluetooth with an effective range of 10 metres.

Bluetooth will be around for a long time to come and will provide even greater wireless solutions for different applications.
